Walk, Walk With God
To be in harmony with God’s teachings and to live as God would have his people live; to be receptive and obedient to the promptings of the Holy Ghost.
I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or not, Ex. 16: 4. No good thing will be withheld from them that walk uprightly, Ps. 84: 11. Those who walk in my statutes and keep my ordinances shall be my people, Ezek. 11: 20-21 (Deut. 8: 6). What does the Lord require of you but that you walk humbly with God? Micah 6: 8 (D&C 11: 12). Walk in the light, as God is in the light, 1 Jn. 1: 7 (2 Jn. 1: 6; 4 Ne. 1: 12; 3 Jn. 1: 4). Walk in the strait path which leads to life, 2 Ne. 33: 9. King Benjamin walked with a clear conscience before God, Mosiah 2: 27. Your duty is to walk blameless after the holy order of God, Alma 7: 22. Members of the Church shall manifest a godly walk and conversation, D&C 20: 69. Give heed to the prophet and walk in all holiness before the Lord, D&C 21: 4. Teach children to pray and to walk uprightly before the Lord, D&C 68: 28. Abide in me, and I in you; therefore walk with me, Moses 6: 34.
